A third-person action RPG where high-speed traversal meets stealthy teleportation mechanics. Assume the role of Shaiden, an unassuming individual whose newfound powers emerge in a world already teeming with abilities. Augments, gather in hub cities, vying to join powerful factions and carve out their legacy. Embark on Shaiden's quest attempting to locate his brother, lost during the Collapse, the world altering event that ushered the era of supernatural chaos.

Introduction
Contrast is Inspired by games such as Prototype, Infamous, Nier Automata, Mirror's Edge Detroit Become Human, Deus Ex, Saints Row, Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice and Control.
My main goal was to create a narrative with a solid tone of struggle and rising against the odds. I wanted this to be present through gameplay which leaned me towards the fast paced traversal style. I wanted the feeling of constant movement to symbolise the constant growth of the character as the narrative progresses. Despite being a narrative focused game the mechanics will still remain solid.



Character Creation Process
When crafting the concept for my shadow-themed character, I envisioned a figure that embraced speed, agility, and a rugged demeanour.

Drawing inspiration from various sources, I sought to create a design that stood out distinctly, hence the inclusion of the unique bag accessory.

Exploring different artistic styles allows meroom to be flexible and experiment with the character's portrayal.

The envisioned character is akin to a futuristic urban detective, possessing the uncanny ability to scale extravagant heights while remaining firmly grounded, untouched by the allure of extravagance.
